OVERVIEW
We are looking for a talented copywriter who can tell our clients’ stories, engage their audiences, and bring both creative and strategic thinking to every project. The Copywriter is responsible for the creation and development of original ad ideas and themes for various clients of the agency, as well as proofreading and formatting copy provided by client creative teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft podcast, radio, and YouTube copy as creative lead for a variety of accounts while staying consistent with client’s brand voice and messaging
- Revise and restructure copy as needed, often against tight traffic deadlines
- Communicate with account strategists, analysts, and media buyers daily for urgent account needs, providing a more in-depth creative analysis on weekly internal calls
- Research and develop a thorough understanding of each client's needs, business, and target audiences
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of each client's brand voice, personality, messaging framework, and other foundational brand elements
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders on copy from initial concept development to review of final deliverables
- Contribute creative ideas and suggestions for improving content
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English/Journalism, or related field
- Ability to work independently and on a team to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
- Deadline-oriented, being able to manage deadlines both with clients and internal stakeholders
- Able to quickly learn internal processes and take creative direction and feedback well
- Intermediate skill level of MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Google suite, including Google Meet, Docs, Sheets, Slides
